Lowline cattle are easy calving, good natured cattle that are very feed efficient and maintain themselves on grass. They have excellent taste, texture, and tenderness beef characteristics with exceptional ribeye area per hundred pounds of body weight which translates to very high yielding, high quality, high value beef carcasses.
We got started raising Lowlines in 2011. I researched this breed, was very impressed by the docility and easy keeping of these cattle, then started buying a few head here and there and have slowly built up my herd to the point where I can now offer some really well bred Lowlines for sale.
My middle son wanted to get into the cattle industry as well. He bought his first Lowlines back in 2011 shortly after I did. Because Lowlines are easy keepers, it has been a good fit for him as he has a full time job working for a local hay company.
Our cattle are raised in the summer on dry land pasture 5 miles west of Ephrata, Washington. They have shown to do quite well there enabling us to stock more head per acre for longer periods of time. We winter the cattle at my place, 11 miles northwest of Ephrata, feeding hay and bluegrass straw.
We have full bloods, percentage cattle, and purebreds in both red and black. We offer full blood bulls, percentage bulls, steers, bred heifers, and weaned heifers for sale. Occasionally we offer bred cows for sale. I always guarantee my bred animals to be bred or bring them back for a full refund or pick another animal.
We do not believe in growth hormones and try to raise these cattle as natural as we can. We would love to work with anyone wanting more information on the breed, answer any questions regarding purchasing cattle, as well as just answering general questions you may have.
